Supervisor’s Message – May 23, 2020
The first warm days of spring, combined with the long-awaited beginning phases of reopening are welcome reminders that new, exciting beginnings are around the corner. With this newfound hope; however, must come a reinforced commitment to protect ourselves, our families, and our community by continuing to slow the spread of this unpredictable, unprecedented virus.
As you may have read, the Seneca County Health Department confirmed that a Town resident tested positive for coronavirus on Friday, May 22. Their diagnosis is an important reminder that our community is not immune from COVID-19.
Please, as you celebrate the Memorial Day holiday with your families, continue to practice social distancing and thorough hand-washing, avoid unnecessary outings and group activities, and remember, the steps we take today will have a tremendous impact on our future.
