Seneca County Office of Emergency Management – Flood Reconnaissance 10/10 & 10/11
I am writing to inform you that on October 10 and 11 from 4-6:30, we will be in your Towns/Villages conducting a ground reconnaissance to check the current exterior conditions of properties impacted by the Storm in August. The purpose of this ground effort is specifically to assess which
homeowners continue to have debris removal needs, as well as the scope of those needs. We are working with NYS officials who are setting up iPads with an app to assist us in this effort and we will share with you any relevant information we obtain.
Also for your information, we will be providing a door hanger message to homeowners which states that if they have any flood-related debris removal needs or other flood-related questions, to call my office at 315-539-1757. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.
