Seneca County Health Department – Water Testing 9/26 & 10/3

The Seneca County health Department will offer free Bacteria Water Sample Collections and testing for drinking water systems affected by the August flash flood. Environmental Health Staff from the Seneca County health Department will collect water samples to test for the presence of bacteria in homeowners’ drinking water impacted by the recent flood event. Water samples will be collected by our staff on the following dates:

Wednesday, September 26th

Wednesday, October 3rd

This sampling event is restricted to only those residents who were directly impacted by the flooding that have either:
1.  Not Previously sampled their drinking water system since the flood, or
2.  Have sampled, but have not had a bacteria free result

Residents are encouraged to call 315-539-1920 to schedule an appointment for their water sample collection.
